Bruchim haBa’im / Welcome To My Website

Rabbi Daniel Siegel

Dear Friends

I am in the midst of merging parts of this site with ALEPH Canada and am moving my writings one by one. Please be patient with me until the process is complete. The blogs themselves are already there ( and the links to connected files continue to work except where I am moving things to the ALEPH ReSources Catalogue.

I was born in New York to a Canadian father and Russian mother, educated in yeshivot through high school, received a BA from Rutgers University in History and an MA from Temple University in Religion.

Daniel and Reb Zalman

I was the Rabbinic Director of ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal from 1997-2004.

I served as Director of Spiritual Resources, Associate Dean of the Ordination Programs, and Chair of the Rabbinic Studies section of that program until the summer of 2015.

This is the home and office in which I work on the resources available through the ALEPH ReSources Catalog.

At present, these include the Siddur Kol Koreh series as well as booklets and two books of Reb Zalman’s teachings.

Consulting & Teaching

While I do love my current nest, I am available for some travel as well as tutorials and consultations.
